THE NAHARA STORY

For Every
Chapter
of Life.

NAHARA did not begin
with a mattress.

It began with real homes in motion: first apartments, shared lives, growing families, and people choosing comfort for their parents. Life keeps changing. Home should be able to grow with it.

Where our story begins
Life changes. Home grows.
A light-filled tropical home with sculptural furniture, natural linen and abstract art
A little room to become yourself.

BEFORE THE FIRST PRODUCT

We started by asking
how people actually live.

From that question, NAHARA slowly took shape, beginning with sleep and moving toward a longer relationship between people and home.

01 OUR BEGINNINGS

Life never
stays still.

In the beginning, we were simply spending time with different homes and different people. Through product development and real living spaces, we kept seeing the same pattern: life never stays still.

Someone moves into a first home. Someone begins sharing a life with another person. Someone welcomes a child. Someone starts thinking more carefully about comfort, safety, and long-term use for their parents.

We began to realise that many pieces of furniture only fit the moment they are bought. NAHARA came from a quieter question:

Can we create things that meet today’s needs, yet stay useful through more chapters of life?

02 A YOUNG BRAND

Trust isn’t claimed.
It’s built.

NAHARA is a young brand, with experience behind it and work still ahead. We do not have decades of history to turn into a legend.

For us, trust begins with the reasons behind each decision: why a form is designed this way, why one material is chosen over another, and why a first version still needs to be refined.

An observation. An idea. A sketch, a sample, a revision. Then a product that enters a real home. We want to make that thinking as considered as the comfort itself.

Built through the choices you see.
And the care beneath the surface.

Material, light, texture. A study in everyday comfort.

03 THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE IDEA

People first.
Then the product.

Our founding team brought together experience in product design, furniture and user experience, with a shared interest in how people sleep and rest. Work with sofas, chairs, custom furniture and everyday living spaces brought us close to the way people make a home.

The industry often speaks in materials, specifications, structures and functions. People care about something more immediate: can I relax when I get home? Does my body feel supported? Can we sleep well together?

Those questions guide us before a shape is drawn or a material is chosen.

04 ROOTED IN REAL LIFE

Comfort belongs
in the everyday.

A perspective from the Philippines

In the Philippines, comfort has to make room for heat and humidity, busy days, compact spaces and, for many families, generations sharing a home.

Younger people move. Households grow. A person’s living situation can change completely within a few years. Yet many home products are still defined by one function or one moment of use.

There are plenty of products to choose from. Our question is how to make something that people can welcome into a longer part of their lives — and choose to keep.

05 OUR FIRST CHAPTER

At the end of the day,
we return to rest.

We chose sleep because it is close to every stage of life. Work, commuting, studying, caring for others — however the day unfolds, most of us return to bed.

We sleep alone. We learn to share a room. Children arrive, routines change, and our bodies ask for different kinds of support, stability and comfort.

A mattress is not NAHARA’s final destination. It is the first product through which we began to understand the relationship between people and home.

06 THE DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY

Observe life first.
Then shape the answer.

Growth is a cycle of listening, understanding, designing, adjusting and returning to real homes. Every stage gives us something to carry into the next.

  1. 01

    Observe

We look at how people choose a mattress, where discomfort begins, and how softness, support, heat and room size shape each night.

  2. 02

    Insight

Comfort has no single answer. Different chapters call for reassurance, balance, lightness or the ease of sharing a home.

  3. 03

    Design

Life stage becomes emotional need, then sleep need. Only then do we define materials, structure, thickness, support and form.

  4. 04

    Prototype

Ideas become samples. We compare materials and structures, look at what could feel better, and make thoughtful adjustments.

  5. 05

    Launch

The product enters everyday life. Customer experience becomes part of the conversation and helps guide the next improvement.

The conversation continues in real homes.

FOUR EXPRESSIONS OF COMFORT

Different lives.
A place for each.

Our four collection names grew from the lives we observed. Each responds to a different chapter and a different emotional need.

A SOFT BEGINNING

NEST

A first room. A smaller space. The freedom of making life your own. NEST begins with a simple wish: for independent life to feel soft, easy and reassuring.

Explore NEST

A RETURN TO SELF

HAVEN

For full days and shared nights. After the traffic, messages and responsibilities, HAVEN centres on balance — a welcoming place to release the day and return to yourself.

WHERE LOVE GROWS

ROOTS

For the home you build together. ROOTS takes a more substantial approach to support and edge stability, shaped by family routines and the wish for comfort that feels grounded.

LIGHTNESS AGAIN

BREEZE

Our upcoming chapter explores lightness, airflow and a more personal rhythm of rest in warm, humid climates. Its final construction and comfort details are still to come.

07 A MORE RESTORATIVE HOME

Rest begins before
we lie down.

Where we sit, how a room feels, the small gestures that quiet the evening. Sleep is part of a wider picture: a home that helps us return to ourselves.

An open bedroom and lounge overlooking tropical greenery at dusk
The spaces between a full day and a quiet night.
Sunlit linen, an eye mask and natural materials arranged for a quiet evening
Room for the small rituals.

Today, our range brings together mattresses, a weighted eye mask, a memory foam contour pillow and an entryway mat. Each addition carries comfort a little further into everyday life, while the wider home remains a direction to grow into thoughtfully.

01 / SLEEP

The foundation.

Mattresses are our starting point, joined by a sculpted memory foam pillow. Looking ahead, bedding could help create a more complete setting for rest.

Our starting point

02 / LOUNGE

A softer pause.

We imagine inviting sofas and relaxed furniture, helping the day move gently from activity into rest.

Our future vision

03 / LIVING

A sense of home.

Our entryway mat is a first step into everyday living. Throws and further soft furnishings remain part of our vision for warmth and belonging across the home.

04 / RITUAL

The little things.

Beginning with our weighted eye mask, this chapter considers familiar moments before rest, with fragrance among the possibilities ahead.

08 WHAT STAYS WITH US

Life changes.
Home should
grow with you.

People change. Relationships change. Families change. We hope the things NAHARA creates can stay with someone a little longer and belong in one more chapter of life.

That hope guides what we make next.
Trust is built, one choice at a time.

09 THE CHAPTERS AHEAD

Our story is still
being lived.

Today, NAHARA begins with sleep. In the future, it may be a sofa, a chair or a more complete home. What matters is whether our growth becomes part of real family stories.

A first home. A life shared. A family growing. If NAHARA can become one of the familiar things that stays with you through change, that is the story we most want to leave behind.
